    Sailing

Sailing is a sport that many of your clients may not have experienced but are sure to fall in love with. It provides the opportunity to enhance relationships with colleagues and clients and really get to know how they react to the heat of competition……! Our RYA approved experts will provide 3 hours of instruction on the water to prepare you for a competitive afternoon regatta of 3-5 races against the other boats. The whole experience takes place in the company of double Olympic gold medalist Shirley Robertson and her team of GB Youth Skippers and provides a unique exercise in teamwork, communication and winning!

  • Cycling

    Cycling

Following the huge Olympic success in Beijing, cycling has become hugely recognized and popular in the UK. Now with the fantastic Manchester Velodrome available for private hire we can create a very unique track experience with gold medalist Victoria Pendleton. Guests will arrive for a light breakfast where they will meet Victoria for a welcome introduction to Track Cycling, her Olympic experience and a briefing on how the day will run. Training groups, bikes, helmets and shoes will be assigned. Victoria will start the session with a sprint demonstration and set a fastest lap. Guests will then compete in team activities and a time trial, where the benchmark will be set by Victoria herself. Drinks, lunch and prizegiving will be served trackside before an awards ceremony and Q & A session with Victoria.

  • Rowing

    Rowing

We can provide your staff and clients with an inspirational corporate regatta experience in the company of some of GB Rowing’s true legends including Sir Matthew Pinsent (4 time Olympic gold medalist), Steve Williams (2 time gold medalist) and Pete Reed (Beijing 2008 gold medalist). Guests arrive at Dorney Lake, a venue for the 2012 Olympic Games, to meet their host athlete and are taken through the day’s programme. They are then divided into teams of 5 (4 rowers and a cox) and allocated a team coach for the day before receiving an introduction to rowing strokes on ergometers in the Dorney indoor training centre. Each person will be allocated a boat position and receive individual instruction from the team coach and host athlete on technique and teamwork. Teams will race over a specially designed 500m course to determine who has got what it takes to follow in the Olympians footsteps! The host will take part in a Q&A over lunch before conducting prizegiving. Absolutely no experience is required to take part in the ultimate team building event.
