Professional Sports Group golf networking event for business leaders wins top award at Middle East Golfer awards
The Leisurecorp Middle East Corporate Masters won an award as Best Corporate Golf Event in The Middle East at the 2008 Middle East Golfer Awards. The executive panel of judges based their decision on the following verdict: “A fantastic new series of corporate days, managed by Jamie Cunningham and his team at the Professional Sports Group. Starting as a two-event series in 2007, it was upgraded to six events all across the UAE and in Doha. The winners of the grand finale, which was held at The Els Club in Dubai Sports City, qualified for the World Corporate Masters Final in the stunning Monte Rei in Portugal. The event format, where one invited guest is given the opportunity to chose his/her partner from another company, took networking on the golf course to a new level and the response from the movers and shakers of the region to the tournament was fantastic.”

The Corporate Masters was established in the UK in 2000 and now consists of 20 events across Europe and the Middle East. The event is approved by both the R&A and the UAE Golf Association and is known as Europe’s most exclusive corporate golf event.
