The 9th World Corporate Masters Final

The 9th World Corporate Masters Final took place at Monte Rei Golf & Country Club on 3rd and 4th November 2008. Qualifying events, attended by over 1,000 senior executives, were held in the UK and Middle East throughout 2008 with the winners entered into the Final at Monte Rei, one of the Algarve’s newest and most exclusive developments.
Following a practice round on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, rising European Tour pro and PSG client Paul Waring conducted a golf clinic to help prepare the competitors for the championship round. The World Title was won comfortably by Riaz Rattansi, Director of Narrow Street, and Vivek Gohil, Director of Delano, who qualified through the London Corporate Masters at Bearwood Lakes, after a scintillating round that defied the challenging course.
Riaz and Vivek commented, “The Final round was great. 9 birdies doesn’t happen often but we are very honoured to have won this great tournament. Monte Rei was fantastic, the course was in great condition and it should be a must-play for any keen golfer. The whole tournament concept is first class and we loved the fact that we were able to meet new people and even discuss business away from home. We must also congratulate Professional Sports Group on staging and organising the tournament and I’m sure it was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
